PPPoE adalah singkatan dari “Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet.” PPPoE adalah konfigurasi jaringan yang digunakan untuk membangun koneksi PPP pada Ethernet protokol. Hal ini biasanya digunakan untuk membuat koneksi DSL internet.
Kelebihan PPPOE ( Point-to-Point Protocol Over Ethernet ):

- Setting client lebih mudah
- Untuk koneksi share client bisa menggunakan hotspot dirumah

- Tidak cocok bagi pedagang bandwith untuk produk non-share
